Anti-Aging Exercises for Your Face

An anti-aging exercise that is great for toning the muscles of the face and neck, and actually helps reduce laugh lines is a yoga technique. Simply stand straight and inhale through your mouth, holding the breath in and puffing out your checks. Hold the breath as long as you can and exhale from your nose –repeat this 5 times.
To reduce the wrinkles on your forehead, position both index fingers above both eyes, but below the eyebrows. Lift your eyebrows as high as you can while also pulling down on the skin below your eyebrows. Repeat 10 times (and do this often).
For the sagging area under the chin, this is the perfect exercise to tone and reshape the jawline and neck, and is especially helpful after a great deal of weight loss. The muscle at the front of the neck is called the platysma muscle and aging causes it and the skin on top of it to become loose and to sag. Tilt your head up so you are looking at the ceiling. Press your tongue to the roof of your mouth and you will feel all the muscles at the front of your neck contracting with this movement. With your tongue still on the roof of your mouth, tilt your chin to your neck, and repeat 5 times.
The muscles and skin of the cheeks may also sag with weight loss or aging. To tighten the muscles and reduce wrinkling, smile as big as you can, with your lips closed and the corners of your mouth turned up toward your ears. Then wrinkle your nose so that your cheek muscles move upward and hold for five seconds, then relax and repeat 10 times.
